Networks and Telecommunications
This course teaches about the technologies that are being used in the marketplace. The course covers market-driven content such as wireless LANs, security and network management, TCP/IP, and application layers.
Information Technology
This course covers the basic hardware of a personal computer, including installation, operations and interactions with software. Topics include component identification, memory-system, peripheral installation and configuration, preventive maintenance, hardware diagnostics/repair, installation and optimization of system software, commercial programs, system configuration, and device-drivers.
Computer Science
This course uses broad coverage and clear exposition to present a complete picture of the dynamic computer science field. An overview of each of the important areas of Computer Science (e.g. Networking, OS, Computer Architecture, Algorithms) provides you with a general level of proficiency for future courses.
Computing Concepts
This course covers the introduction to the computer science discipline, including an introduction to computing environments, general application software, computing hardware, operating systems, desktop publishing, internet, software applications and tools and computer usage concepts; introducing software engineering and information technology within the broader domain of computing.
It Project Management
This course explains how to successfully manage an IT project and prepare Track from Start to Finish. The course walks you through each step of the IT project management process, covering critical strategies for on-time and within-budget projects.
Multimedia Communications
This course describes the convergence of various technologies including communications, broadcasting, information technology, and home electronics, and emerging new communication services and applications resulting from the growth of the Internet and wireless technologies.
Advanced Animations
This course deals with state-of-the-art techniques in rendering and animation and provides a unique synthesis of advanced techniques not previously available in one coherent source.
Advanced Multimedia Design
This is an innovative and timely course that introduces you to the human component of Web site design. This course will be able to do a much better job of writing front ends or other interactive software, as the course describes the creation of user-friendly Web sites.
Multimedia Copywriting
This course emphasizes the strategic, goal-oriented mission of good media writing, with clear, concise instructions for nearly 40 types of writing documents. This multimedia, multidisciplinary course covers writing for public relations, advertising, sales and marketing, and business communication.
Advanced Multimedia Systems
This course is a comprehensive guide to the theory, principles, and practical techniques associated with implementing next-generation networked multimedia communications systems. It brings together key advances in multimedia architecture; MPEG standards; audio-visual integration; multimedia processing; storage and retrieval; service deployment; network and traffic management; QoS; and much more.
