Networks and Telecommunications
This course teaches about the technologies that are being used in the marketplace. The course covers market-driven content such as wireless LANs, security and network management, TCP/IP, and application layers.
Information Technology
This course covers the basic hardware of a personal computer, including installation, operations and interactions with software. Topics include component identification, memory-system, peripheral installation and configuration, preventive maintenance, hardware diagnostics/repair, installation and optimization of system software, commercial programs, system configuration, and device-drivers.
Computer Science
This course uses broad coverage and clear exposition to present a complete picture of the dynamic computer science field. An overview of each of the important areas of Computer Science (e.g. Networking, OS, Computer Architecture, Algorithms) provides you with a general level of proficiency for future courses.
Computing Concepts
This course covers the introduction to the computer science discipline, including an introduction to computing environments, general application software, computing hardware, operating systems, desktop publishing, internet, software applications and tools and computer usage concepts; introducing software engineering and information technology within the broader domain of computing.
It Project Management
This course explains how to successfully manage an IT project and prepare Track from Start to Finish. The course walks you through each step of the IT project management process, covering critical strategies for on-time and within-budget projects.
Advanced Network Protocol
This course describes the fundamental concepts of client-server computing used to build all distributed computing systems, and presents an in-depth guide to the Posix sockets standard utilized by Linux and other operating systems.
Corporate Network Security
This course fills the critical need for security education. Its comprehensive, balanced, and well-organized presentation emphasizes implementing security within corporations using existing commercial software and provides coverage of all major security issues.
Wireless Application Networks
This course reflects the emerging symbiosis of portable computers and wireless networks, addressing the convergence of mobility, computing and information organization, access and management.
Wireless Communications
This course covers both depth and perspective to introductory wireless data communications by helping you discover technologies from Bluetooth to Satellites. This course has been structured to follow a more logical approach, covering Wireless Personal Area Networks, Wireless Local Area Networks, Wireless Metropolitan Area Networks, and Wireless Wide Area Networks.
Advanced Network Management
This course provides a comprehensive look at computer networking from the point of view of the network administrator. It examines the key concepts the network administrator must possess to configure and manage today's complex computer networks.
